A question, if my wifi disconnects due to some error, can my reolink argus pt solar camera continue recording until I can fix the wifi?

Currently hardwired with a Honeywell/Vista panel setup. Are there any companies that make a homebase hub where I can wire in all my door/window relays instead of buying and maintaining all the wireless sensors?

I pointed 2 cameras at the same location to get 2 views and only 1 camera will record an event. Its random as to which one records the event. I'm also experiencing the 3-5 second delay for recording to start which is unacceptable for my needs. They need to add a 10 second pre-record of the event and to allow multiple cameras to record at the same time to make this system useful. There is no option to continuously record. I contacted the support team and was escalated to a senior engineer. They said I needed to wait 2 days to get a response. Its been 3 days without any contact.

ADT is trash. I have it and hate it. Absolutely garabge system.

Ill never buy from vivint. I called them and they would not stop bothering me. Even after unsubscribing them and telling them over the phone it took me telling them im going to report them for harassement.

I wonder how if accidentally dropped it into some narrow space or anywhere that you can’t reach(like a ground vent)? Have to let it ring till battery die?

Vivint put in a system, raised the price less than a week later, now just charged me twice in 1 month. Had to lock my bank account to stop them stealing from me & have had a scam call center call wanting all my info & they misspelled Vivint on their e mail. Vivint is a THIEF AGENCY RUN BY THIEVES & TAGGED/USED BY THIEVES.

Sadly it can't do target following which is usually a basic function of a PT(Z) camera even in the lower segment. Without this the pan and tilt function is just a gimmick.

Decent hardware, but lack of affordable sub plans render Arlo out of touch for many.

I have 10 Lifx bulbs and all have been working fine for years. Never had a single one disconnect. Secret is to read the instructions first and make sure you have a reputable brand of router and reasonable wifi signal strength where you plan to install them. You can’t have one router in a large house and expect the wifi signal to be acceptable in all locations. Add access points in low signal areas to get even coverage.

I have FIFX string lights. At first, it was great. Colors were awesome until I decided to extend it and make it longer for my balcony. It was a nightmare. I followed the recommendations and was a big fail. It's no longer working and I can't get it work. To get an actual person to help is impossible. I spent 300$ and I am so disappointed.

I just called SimpliSafe and asked them if I can use the app to arm/disarm and receive notifications without paying monthly to SimpliSafe. They told me “yes”! I confirmed it twice.

Best Buy told me it was free and I could use the system without wifi as I only want to use it for the siren to deter people from breaking into my cabin. If they don’t take it back someone is gonna be wearing $600 worth of equipment!!! Do not waist your money people as it’s a total ripoff

Please be careful. Don’t sign contracts with Vivint. They have U sign in line. They won’t respond to your calls once they leave your home. I didn’t get what I requested. Installation incomplete. Try asking for retail Fortiva Phone number and address. Try asking for Vivint phone number and address and clarify it before they leave your home. Or U will regret it. Ask for contract in writing before they leave. Beware

0:34 Vivint won’t cancel U. Even when U request less than 24 hours. My installation incomplete. Can’t reach Vivint. Their retail credit Fortiva won’t cancel. They want to bill me $4000. Though I sent cancellation form to both. Be careful. Don’t sign. I’m still trying to cancel a day later. I didn’t get what I requested in contract

Nice video. I’m even more conflicted now though 😂 I got a BUNCH of DVR cameras my work was throwing out but with it having no audio or no wireless connectivity I don’t think my wife would want them up.😂 Tryna save a penny or two.
